Frequently Asked Questions

I offer a variety of services, depending on your, or your child’s, concerns. Much of my practice centers around psychological testing. If you have concerns about your child’s learning or attention, sadness, anxiety, or mood, or your child’s mental health treatment needs, I am here to help.
I can also help if you are an emerging college student, or parent of one, who needs special services, like extended time, on standardized tests (like the ACT) or in college courses.
In addition to psychological testing, I also offer therapy for adolescents and young adults. I do provide treatment for children, but note that this often involves significant involvement on the part of the parents.
I do NOT provide evaluations or services as part of any divorce, custody, or court proceedings.
I do not provide Autism specific evaluations, though questions about Autism Spectrum Disorder might be addressed within the context of a broader evaluation.

I am a licensed psychologist and here to try to help with your child’s (or your) mental health needs. My training is primarily cognitive-behavioral, meaning that I have interest in helping your child (or you) examine thoughts and behaviors that might be helpful or harmful. My work with children frequently includes parents, in order to help with structure, guidance, discipline, and family dynamics. I take a collaborate approach, using my background, training, and experience to help answer questions and improve your child’s (or your) mental health functioning.
Finding the right psychologist can help along your journey. I want to do what I can to provide services and guidance and am open to discuss any concerns at any time.
